What we build
PL Tools
A free collection of everyday tools: merge, split, compress, edit and sign PDFs; convert, resize and crop images; make QR codes and passport photos; plus calculators, text tools and developer utilities. Most tools process your files right in your browser, so they're never uploaded. No sign-up is needed.
PaperFinder
One search across research papers, books and audiobooks, and public registries such as patents, laws and case law. PaperFinder points you to free, legitimate full texts and official sources, and can summarise what you find.
StockWatcher
A real-time portfolio watcher: connect your trading account's API and follow your holdings as prices move. StockWatcher is a monitoring tool — it doesn't give investment advice.
X Post Studio
A Mac app for writing posts on X. It researches a topic across real sources, screens it for scam signals, drafts the post and checks it against X's published rules before you publish.
Software Health Inspector
A desktop app for developers and QA teams. It scans a website, a code folder or a running app, finds what's broken or insecure, and explains how to fix it in a graded report.
vgrab
An Android app for downloading videos from social media, with a built-in search for free online courses.
How we work
- Private by default. If a job can be done on your device, we do it there. When a tool does need a server, its page says so.
- No dark patterns. No fake countdowns, no forced sign-ups, no buttons dressed up as something they're not.
- Honest results. If a tool can't do something reliably, we say so instead of pretending.
How we keep the lights on
Some of our products are free and supported by advertising. Others, such as the Software Health Inspector and X Post Studio, are sold as paid licences. You can read how advertising works on our sites in our privacy policy.
